What it is for
Yarrow (502), chamomile (503), stinging nettle (504), oak bark (505) and dandelion (506) are inserted into the compost. Valerian (507) is poured over as an extract. Together they harmonise the decomposition process.
Dose and application
1 set of preparations for 10–15 m³ of compost (2 g each of 502–506, 2–5 ml valerian 507). Heap at least 1.5 m wide, 1.2 m high. Make holes approx. 40–50 cm deep and 10–12 cm in diameter. Wrap the preparations in a ball of old compost (peach-sized) and insert them. Arrangement: 502 top left, 503 top right, 504 centre, 505 bottom left, 506 bottom right (cross shape). Valerian (507): stir 2–5 ml in 1 L of lukewarm rainwater for 10–20 min, 20 ml into each hole, spray the rest over the heap (Masson). Cover the heap with straw, hay or fleece. Maturity: 3–6 months, crumbly and black like forest soil. Best spread in autumn with a descending Moon.
